The Petrified Forest
The Petrified Forest is a natural phenomenon of hollow rock columns. Geologists have argued about how they were formed, but it is understood that this area was once under water.
A wonderful day trip to see some amazing petrified trees, some as wide as 4m in diameter and towering 10m above your head!
