Where We Are
The Hostel is found in the village of Letovnik (Летовник) in the Eastern part of the Rodopi Mountains in Southern Bulgaria. We are 15km Southeast of Kardjali, (Кърджали) and 50km South of Haskovo (Хасково).
Directions
Heading south from Kardjali, travel 7km and look out for a bridge signposted for Letovnik (Летовник) and Gruevo (Груево). Take the right turn just after the bridge, you will cross the bridge and come to Gruevo after 2km. Stay to the left after Gruevo, the road forks as you leave the small village, and continue for another 4km to reach Letovnik. There are only a handful of houses in the village, continue straight through, a couple of hundred metres and you will see the Hostel, the only large building on the left at the end of the village.
Heading north from Momchilgrad (Момчилград), travel 5km, look out for the bridge and from this direction take the left turn just before the bridge. Follow the rest of the directions as above.
Getting to Kardjali
There are both buses and trains to Kardjali from all over Bulgaria. Buses are recommended as they take less time and are more regular. There are regular Buses from Sofia and Plovdiv.

Pick up
We offer a pick up service from Kardjali, and there is a public bus service to our village which leaves from Momchilgrad bus station 3 times per day. The bus times can vary so call us, +359-884-881-825 , or send an email to find out the correct times.
We are on the way to Turkey, from anywhere, and the Aegean Sea too. The Greek / Bulgarian road and border are open as of January 2010 and Greece is now 70km South of us.
